Strut your mutt and the mascot bowl
We had a great weekend. We were at strut your mutt and met a lot of wonderful people. Everyone fell in love with Stella McCoy and Fritz. They are three of the service dogs in training with salt lake k9. We loved seeing all of the dogs and meeting their owners.
Tonight we were able to be at the mascot bowl at Lehi high school. It was so much fun. The kids that were there LOVED Stella! She is such a good dog. We met a lot of people who were interested in the cause and donated towards other children with autism getting a dog. We met a couple of children with autism tonight and they were drawn to Stella. Cameron didn't want us to take Stella without him, it would have been to much for him there. Hopefully the more comfortable he gets with Stella, the more he will be okay to be around large groups of people.
We have a lot of pictures of this weekend that we will post soon. Thanks for following us and would love you to leave a comment.

It was great to be at the Strut Your Mutt on Saturday and meet all of the people who are interested in helping children with austism. We are excited to help Paws for the Cause provide service dogs to these wonderful children. Thanks for all that you are doing.
ReplyDeleteI live in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It would be great to have a program here for the autistic in our area. Is there any way we could get it going in Idaho?Thank you! Joyce Balmforth, jab_48@msn.com
